Hey Touchland Fam!
It’s Joseph, the social marketing intern of Touchland, and I’ve been working for Touchland since January of 2021. I’m
such a fan of the brand that I wanted to tell you more about Touchland’s story.
You may have first heard about Touchland on Instagram, TikTok, or even from your friends.
We blew up on search engines in 2020 and even got to a point that we had 34,000 people on our waitlist. A lot of you
may be wondering, how did Touchland even begin? Well, let’s break it down:
We were first founded in Barcelona in 2010 by Andrea Lisbona, our founder and CEO, who had every intention to
disrupt the hand sanitizer game. Before Touchland, there were no hand sanitizers out there that were pleasing to use
like Touchland. Traditional hand sanitizer companies would simply create products that met sanitizers main function:
sanitize. But they forgot about creating something that people would look forward to using.
Touchland is nothing like that. Apart from providing skin-care benefits in our formula, we want to elevate everyday
experiences by making hand hygiene fun, convenient, and pleasing. We are passionate about finding solutions that
would bring joy in simple routines. Who knew that a simple spritz would create so much buzz?
We found so much success in Europe that we made the big decision to move to the United States in 2018. When we
launched our Kickstarter campaign, we were so surprised to be fully-funded within 24 hours and ended up being 450%
funded. Ever since then, our family’s been growing tremendously every single day and we are so grateful for having
you in every step of the way.
It’s been 3 years since we made our mark in the United States and had many milestones to celebrate. In 2019, we went
from being just an e-commerce brand to being sold at major retailers across the nation like Ulta, Urban Outfitters,
Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Revolve and many more.
Additionally, our commercial solutions, the KUB smart dispensers, have landed at the doors of category leaders like
Equinox, Sweetgreen, Joe & The Juice, The Standard Hotels, to name just a few.
Within those 3 years, we wanted to make a positive impact in the world, and that’s why we created our social
campaign: Touchlives. In early 2020, when COVID-19 hit, we donated over 1,000 smart dispenser KUBs and Power Mist
hydrating hand sanitizers to healthcare workers and teachers. However, Touchlives does not just stop there. We will
continue to donate 4,000 more units throughout 2021 to public schools across the United States.
As hygiene becomes more important than ever and plays an important role in building a healthier world, we will
continue to dedicate 5% of our profits to send our sanitizing hygiene solutions to public schools in the United
States to ensure that students and teachers can return to school safely.
Thank you so much for riding along this journey with us. We have so many exciting things planned for 2021 so
continue to stay tuned!
